Jasper County Conservation Board Mission
The mission of the Jasper County Conservation Board is to establish quality parks, recreation, conservation and outdoor education systems that give the most service to residents of Jasper County and the State of Iowa. To reach this objective, we actively promote programs and interests in conservation and preservation of our natural resources. We have nearly 3,000 acres of parks, trails, and natural areas just waiting to be explored!
Educational Programs
The Jasper County Conservation Board’s naturalist provides many programs for different groups throughout the county to meet the increasing demand for outdoor education opportunities. The natural areas, parks and preserves offer outstanding places to observe study and enjoy a variety of ecosystems in Jasper County. Programs are available for people of all ages. Call the Jasper County Conservation Office at (641) 792-9780 to schedule a program or email the naturalists, Katie Cantu or Greg Oldsen.
