Hunter Safety Education
The Jasper County Conservation Board offers Hunter Education Courses three times each year at the Izaak Walton League Clubhouse on Highway F-36, just north of Newton. Students may register one month in advance of the scheduled course date and must be at least 12 years old. Students should pick up their workbooks at the Jasper County Conservation Office before class, read through them, and answer the review questions in the back of the book before beginning the course. Students are required to attend all of the scheduled days of their session.
