Office Manager or Assistant to the Engineer
Jasper County Engineer is seeking qualified applicants to fill one (1) position of either Office Manager or Assistant to the Engineer depending on Applicant’s qualifications and experience. This position will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the front office and executing the financial, and related clerical support tasks as required for the Secondary Roads Department. Exceptional candidates that possess qualifications to assist the Engineer in the planning, designing, and execution of road, bridge, and drainage maintenance and construction projects will be considered for the Assistant to the Engineer position.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday and will report directly to the County Engineer. The starting salary for this position will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience with a range of $50,000 to $85,000, to include County paid benefits: Paid vacation, sick leave, and family sick leave, excellent Blue Cross & Blue Shield health insurance, vision & dental plans, and IPERS retirement.
