Protests of Any Year Assessments
Values will be set effective January 1 every year.
Notices of valuation changes will be mailed out by April 1.
Informal appeal requests can only be made April 2 to April 25.
Protest forms are only accepted from April 2 to April 30.
Forms may be dropped off in the office or mailed in, postage stamp must be April 30.
If you are not satisfied with the results from the Board of Review, you may then choose to appeal the case by filing in district court or with the Property Assessment Appeal Board.
