From the Auditor | Recount Info for November 5th

From the Auditor:

Jasper County conducted our recount of the US Representative District 1 race on Tuesday, November 26th. Our Recount Board consisted of three members, one representing the Mariannette Miller-Meeks campaign, 1 representing the Christina Bohannan campaign, and the third member was agreed upon by both parties. We had a total of 3 observers that remained in the room all day with our Recount Board. The recount started promptly at 8:00 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m. The process consisted of running all 20,306 total ballots from Absentee voting and Election day through our central count machine. After the recount was finished it was determined that there was no change in the results and they will remain the same as they did after our first initial canvass on Wednesday, November 13th.
