We will be tearing out bridge D-05 starting Wednesday morning, April 9th, it is located NW of Baxter on N 107th Ave W between W 86th St. N and W 92nd St. N. The project will take between two to three months depending on weather.

Demolition of Bridge T06 is well underway.

Bridge A11 is located on Highway F-17 approximately 0.1 miles west of E 124th St N and carries the roadway over Rock Creek.  Replacement of the existing bridge will start on Monday April 21st, 2025.  Official detour for this project will be F-17 to IA 224 to F-27 to T-38 to F-17.  Click HERE for the map for depiction, red line, of official detour route.  Weather permitting the bridge replacement will be completed by the end of November 2025.

Updated, April 16:

Starting April 28th and continuing until the end of June weather permitting F-48 W will be closed to all traffic at the bridge over the railroad or between Newgate Street and W 92nd St S. The full closure at the railroad bridge is needed so the contractor can replace the approaches to the bridge and complete the rubblization of the existing concrete pavement beyond the approaches on both sides and placement of new asphalt over this rubblized material.  During the completion of the work at the railroad bridge the remainder of F-48 W between IA-117 and the I-80 Baxter Exit will be closed to thru traffic while the contractor mills, patches, and replaces the asphalt surface of the existing road.  Moreover, detour will be set utilizing I-80 between the Baxter I-80 Exit and the Colfax I-80 Exit.  Anticipate completion of the entire scope of project work by the end of August.
